If your family is in need of financial aid services through Denver Language School there are ways we can help. Financial aid assistance is available for: Fun Clubs, Transportation, Student Fees, Field Trips, Middle School Sports, and Uniforms
In order to qualify for financial aid assistance, you must complete the Denver Public Schools free and reduced lunch application located below. Denver Language School will match whatever aid DPS provides your family (reduced or free).

School-based Health Centers are clinics located on a school campus. They are operated by Denver Health employees and provide comprehensive onsite health care to all DPS students.
Student Mental Health Resources
Free and low-cost mental health resources for students.
I Matter provides up to six free therapy sessions for youth in Colorado. All youth aged 18 and younger are eligible, as well as all young people aged 21 and younger who receive special education services.
Your library and recreation card all in one! Youth, ages 5 - 18, can have a key to the city with a MY Denver Card in hand! Youth will get free access to recreation centers, swimming pools and various cultural facilities where they can participate in healthy, safe and fun activities afterschool, during school and summer breaks, and on the weekends.
Winter/Holiday Support
Denver Santa Claus Shop (DSCS) is a nonprofit that collects and gives families the opportunity to shop for free toys each December. A non-denominational, all-volunteer-run organization, DSCS’s mission is “A Toy for Every Girl & Boy”. For 2023, the toy shop will be open December 8-12. Click here to register.

211 is an incredible resource you can use to identify support in your area. This will link you specifically to searching for holiday assistance for families! Be sure to check out what is in your area including food baskets, meals, toys/gifts, adoption programs, and even Christmas trees!
Volunteers of America - Denver Metro Area
On this site, you can find different supports through different areas of getting help such as food and nutrition services, housing & emergency services, community support programs, and Veteran's services.
United Way: Children's Party
Mile High United Way’s Children’s Holiday Party is their largest community outreach event of the year. This year, they are inviting 400 families to celebrate the holidays with craft making, games, and photos with Santa.
Colorado National Guard Holiday Assistance
This program uses generous donations from fellow Guardsmen and community partners to help supply meals for Colorado National Guard Service Members and Families in need during the November and December holidays. No matter where you live or what deployment status you are in, you can register to receive meal assistance!

Backpack Giveaway Events in the Denver Metro area
Backpack giveaways on various dates and locations around the metro area.
This program provides families with $1000 to spend on summer activities and is available to middle school students who qualify for Free & Reduced price lunches.
